PANATHINAIKOS IN THE FINAL OF THE GREΕK CUP!

In the final of the Greek Cup, Panathinaikos defeated PAOK on penalties.

Dragovski was amazing in the match Panathinaikos – PAOK, sent the “clover” to the final of the Greek Cup.

It was a semi-final – thriller, with PAOK who had lost 1-0 in Toumba managing to take a 2-0 lead in Leoforos. He looked ready to qualify for the final of the Greek Cup, but his plans were ruined in the 129th minute by Limnios who made it 1-2.

So everything was decided in the penalty shootout. PAO celebrated thanks to the amazing Dragovski who made three saves! A Dragovski from another planet!

PAOK, who had a much more solid image in the 90th minute, took the lead in the 72nd minute with Zivkovic and sent the match into overtime. Kenziora made it 0-2 in the 105th minute and seemed to give the “ticket” to the final, but in the last minute of extra time Limnios reduced the score to 1-2 and sent the match to penalties, where the class “spoke” of Dragovski, sending the “greens” to the final match of the tournament.

Dragovski was the hero of Panathinaikos as he saved three penalties…match-balls of PAOK players beating Despodov, Ozdoev, Yoni Oto in order, before Samata sent out the 9th and final execution for the North’s double-header, with Panathinaikos finally gets the qualification with 6-5 through the penalty shootout.
Panathinaikos is now waiting to find out its opponent in the final of the Greek Cup, from the winner of the “couple”, Aris – Panaitolikos.

Yiannis Alafouzos went down to the locker room after the finale of the dramatic qualification and praised the football players and the technical staff.

The owner of Panathinaikos is “golden” with a premium of 500 thousand euros to the footballers for the fact that they got the ticket for the grand final of the Betsson Greek Cup. And the “trefoil” players will become another 500 thousand euros richer, if they manage to win the trophy on May 18.
