The Premier League Run-in

So with all three of the title contenders having played 32 games they all have 6 remaining fixtures where the race for the title could be blown wide open

MAN CITY:

Brighton Away

Forest Away

Wolves home

Fulham away

Spurs Away

West Ham Home

I see this run in to be the easiest as Man City should not be challenged by any of these teams they should maybe only drop points away at spurs with them being only team to have a realistic chance at qualifying for the champions league (regardless of if England are granted a 5th champions league spot on coefficient)

ARSENAL:

Wolves Away

Chelsea Home

Spurs Away

Bournemouth Home

Man U Away

Everton Home

Arsenal have what in my opinion is the hardest run in of them all having to play two London derbies in the space of 5 days I can easily see Arsenal having a major fall off coming into the final couple of games this season

LIVERPOOL:

Fulham Away

Everton Away

West Ham Away

Spurs Home

Aston Villa Away

Wolves Home

Liverpool have a relatively easy run in with there only challenges I can see being the derby game and Aston Villa as both of those games could have very different outcomes for Liverpools opponents

I see the outcome of the premier league being

Man City 1st

Liverpool 2nd

Arsenal 3rd

But just for the sake of it let’s say that they all finish on 86 points and also equal goal difference the next decider would be goals scored which for the sake of it let’s say is the same then it would become head to head record which would hand arsenal the title as they have a superior head to head record

So if at one point Arsenal drop out then the head to head would actually also be a tie which would lead to away goals in those head to heads which is also a draw as both Man City Liverpool games ended 1-0 to the away side

If all of that happens then the premier league would have to decide on a neutral venue to host a playoff game and if I were to pick a neutral ground for it I would pick Aston Villa’s Villa park as Wembley is already on a very tight schedule and London police just won’t have room to fit the game in

So I would say the next best place is Villa park as neither team have created a rivalry with Aston Villa which would lead to less crowd trouble than hosting it at old Trafford or goodison
